I Won’t Complain: By Caleb Hammonds

I thought to complain about my life
I seen God while looking in the sky,
Thought to tell him he failed me
Made it unfair for me to succeed
Before I spoke
Anger swelled up in me
Am I mad at my creator?
Did I have a right to speak?

Every Man’s Team By: Caleb Hammonds

I have a vision that gives me hope
And some acquaintances that believe.
I follow a daily schedule that attracts faith and some associates that want me to succeed.
I have a family that supplies everything I need while chasing my dream.
But most of all, im grateful for the friends that bleed when I bleed.

The Life Obstacle By: Caleb Hammonds

When I decided to change my heart, I thought friends would greet me at the door. But no,
I realized I was trapped inside a world that was opposite, and also trapped in a body conflicting as well
Every day since, is spent fighting against myself and the world where im held.

No Love For The Streets By: Caleb Hammonds

Some of my acquaintances are lawless yelling “no love for the police” and some are proper with” no love for the streets”
But both sides suggest they have love for their team
Leaving me to believe I can shed light on some things
A man shared his home with anyone in need. Some where thugs and some were fiends. Then some were wealthy with a love for charity.
Under that roof some things changed. We all saw the truth, that we all are the same

Wife Interview By: Caleb Hammonds

I’ve given my heart and been hurt before
So I been working on myself spending time alone
Lately I’ve been so lonely,
You’re the friend that I needed
Been dreaming of a woman to enhale what I’ve been thinking
Maybe this is that season.
The way you listen makes me confident
Thats why, I’ll show you my soul
If we get close, I know we’ll help each other grow
So many numbers I’ve called
But none of them chose
Does my heart truly have a place in your home?
Can we talk and get close so that mystery will be known?
